Description
COBALT OXIDE is a powerful glaze pigment that produces the beautiful cobalt/royal blue colors in pottery glazes. 1-3% in a glaze yields deep blue hues. Cobalt Oxide requires screening through at minimum an 80 mesh sieve to avoid speckling in glazes. To convert cobalt oxide to cobalt carbonate in a glaze recipe, multiply the percentage by 93 and divide by 63.
