Cobalt Carbonate is a powerful glaze pigment that produces the beautiful cobalt/royal blue colors in pottery glazes. 2-5% in a glaze yields deep blue hues. Cobalt Carbonate disperses easily in a glaze and does not produces even consistent color. To convert cobalt carbonate to cobalt oxide in a glaze recipe, multiply the percentage by 63 and divide by 93.
